1Light the KnightsTruist Field hosts ice skating, snow tubing,lights, shopping, and more as part of this year’s Light the Knights festivities. 6Speedway ChristmasDrive through nearly four miles of Christmas lights with synchronized music on the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Then hop out for photos with Santa, a live nativity scene, rides, s’mores making, and gift vendors. Over 4 million lights decorate the 4-mile driving course that you drive through. It’s pretty cool to weave your way around the racecourse (albeit slowly), infield, then under the grandstands. Enjoy quirky and cute light displays and lights dancing to the music.

The town of McAdenville is easily the largest and most well-known light display in the region. During the holiday season, it's commonly referred to as Christmas Town USA for its annual display of more than 500,000 lights. It's been featured in Time Magazine and on "Good Morning America," among countless other local news stations. The vast majority of McAdenville residents get involved in this community masterpiece, a tradition for the past half century.
